Imbolc Festival at Polk County Pagan Market has been rescheduled

The Imbolc Festival, originally slated for a celebration on January 27th at the Polk County Pagan Market in Livingston, Texas, has been postponed due to unforeseen weather conditions. However, the organizers are excited to announce that the festival has not just been rescheduled, but also expanded! Now set for February 3rd and 4th, attendees can look forward to a full weekend of activities, with the additional benefit of being able to camp on-site for the extended experience.

The new venue for this eagerly anticipated event is the Texas Craft Fair event grounds, located conveniently at 3300 HWY 190 West in Livingston. This change in both the date and location is a fresh twist to the festival, offering a more spacious and versatile area for all the planned activities and vendors.

Kicking off the festival, Saturday’s activities will begin at 1 pm and continue until dusk sets in, creating a perfect backdrop for an evening of community and celebration. The fun picks right up again on Sunday, starting at 11 am, and will wrap up at 5 pm. This shift not only provides a beautiful setting but also allows for a more relaxed transition into the festivities for those who wish to set up camp and settle in.

Whether you are returning or new to the pagan community, the Imbolc Festival at the Polk County Pagan Market promises to deliver an experience full of culture, spirituality, and camaraderie. The addition of camping options brings an opportunity for immersion that was not offered before, promising a deeper connection with like-minded individuals and the serene Texas wilderness.

Mark your calendars for this renewed invitation to rejoice in the Imbolc festivities, where old traditions find new life under the Texan sky. Join the celebration, explore the crafts, indulge in the food, and immerse yourself in the spiritual practices and teachings that this festival reverently observes and shares.

If there are vendors who find themselves unable to attend on the newly scheduled date of the event, they need not worry about the financial aspect of their participation. These vendors will have the flexibility to transfer their payments towards any future date for the event that they are able to attend. This policy is designed to offer peace of mind and ensure that vendors can continue to plan their participation without the pressure of potentially losing their investment due to scheduling conflicts.

Furthermore, for those vendors who initially purchased spaces within the pavilion, they are being offered an added advantage. Recognizing the value of these spaces, the event organizers commit to providing these vendors with prime placement at this event. These premium positions will be strategically located in areas that see high foot traffic, thereby ensuring maximum visibility, shade, easy access and convenience for both vendors and attendees. This is a gesture of goodwill and an acknowledgment of the importance of accommodating the needs and enhancing the experience of our dedicated participants.
